Fedora 10's snapshot scramble begins

The Fedora Project has updated the "beta" or testing
edition of version 10 of its Linux distribution over the weekend,
with a final release to the public scheduled for 25
November.
Fedora release engineer Jesse Keating, who is employed by Red
Hat, wrote in an email to developers that the first testing
snapshot of Fedora 10 was available for download. The update

AI software takes on Turing 8:23AM, Monday 13th October 2008

Artificial Intelligence software came close to beating the Turing Test for the first time over the weekend, scoring just 5% below the required pass rate.

Linux software that talks to 6-channel master hub?

Hi,
I'm working in the Linux world, new to 1-wire, bought a 6-channel master hub and some sensors and can't figure out how to talk to this hub. I installed owfs but it looks like it only knows how to talk to 9000 series parts, not this hub which goes through a regular old COM port via the maxim 232. Does anyone know what drivers or software is available to talk to this thing? I can code C, C++, and if necessary, Python. It doesn't have Read the rest of this entry »

RadioShack Selects Fujitsu POS and Store Management Software
